Greg Williams, the owner and Training Director of Metropolitan K9, has been involved in dog training for about 13 years. During this time, Greg has competed in various protection dog sports with multiple first place wins (16, to be exact), as well as titles in both obedience and protection. Formerly, Greg was the Head Trainer for all training clients, and the Training Director and Head Decoy for Capital Cities K9 Protection Dog Club. This gave Greg the hands on experience needed to fully understand dog behavior and training.

Four years ago, Greg opened Metropolitan K9, LLC. He opened it with the following goal in mind: affordable dog training will ensure that dogs never find their way to a shelter because of bad behavior. Currently, Metropolitan K9 offers programs in

• Obedience (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced),
• Protection (Personal Protection and Sport), and
• Problem Solving.

Metropolitan K9 works with you, in YOUR home, because we believe that most problems originate in the home. There's no need to travel, and no need to worry that when you get to the training facility your dog will act like an angel.

Metropolitan K9 now offers the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test, as well. If when you are done with your training program you'd like to show that your dog is, indeed, a good citizen, we can do the test for you!

At Metropolitan K-9 we believe every dog/handler is an individual and should be treated as such. Our method of training is positive motivation. We teach the dog using motivational methods rather then forcing the dog. This creates a much happier dog, more eager to please, as well as a stronger bond between you and your canine friend.
