Metropolitan K-9, L.L.C., is an all-breed-friendly training group geared towards making life with your canine companion easier and more rewarding. We offer obedience programs to fit any lifestyle. Whether you're looking for basic on-leash or off-leash obedience, we've got it!
Metropolitan K-9 believes that obedience should start in the home. So, we come to you. We not only teach you how to train your dog, but we also teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog. The result is not only a happier pet, but also a happier home.

Some of the basic commands your dog will learn are: sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, come when called, and walk on your left side on a loose leash. We can teach your dog these commands on or off-leash.

Whatever your pet's needs, we will accomodate.

Some of the dogs in the above photo don't get along. However, through strong obedience, we were able to get all of these dogs to pose for a picture for our 2008 Christmas Card. Many people don't think it's possible to get their dogs to listen like this. Metropolitan K-9 disagrees. It IS possible, and Metropolitan K-9 can get you there!



Competition Dog Program
Metropolitan K-9, L.L.C., also offers top-quality competition dog training. Whether you are looking to compete in obedience or just have more advanced obedience, Metropolitan K-9 has the experience and the knowledge of competitive venues to help you reach your goals.
Greg has titled more dogs in Protection Sports Association (PSA) than any other single handler involved in the sport, with a total of 9 dogs titled in just about all levels of PSA, including PSA 2001 National Champion Level 1: Chipper; 2002 PSA Runner-Up Level 1 Open: Rusty; award for highest scoring dog in the PSA 2004 Season: Jue; award for the highest scoring dog in the PSA Level 2 for the 2008 Trial Season: Asja; and the award for the highest scoring dog in the PSA Level 3 for the 2009 Trial Season: Asja. All 4 of these dogs were raised and trained by Greg. This has given Greg, and Metropolitan K-9, the trial experience needed to get you and your dog to the level of the competition you desire.
