• Does your dog steal food from the counters?
• Does your dog simply jump on the counters? Or on people?
• Does your dog chew up shoes? Or other things it's not supposed to?
• Does your dog steal things from the trash?
• Do you walk your dog? Or does your dog walk you?
• Does your dog dig up holes in your backyard like it's trying to escape to China?
• Does your dog have accidents in the house?
• Does your dog constantly bark (or, at least, is that what it seems like)?
• Does your dog act scared towards so many things that you wonder how you can even take it out for a walk?
• Does your dog show aggression towards other adults, towards children, towards other dogs, or towards cats?

However, these problems can be fixed!

In most cases, dogs come to us knowing absolutely nothing of what we, as humans, see as manners. They are a "blank slate" of sorts, and it is our job to teach them what we expect of them in a way that they will understand.

It isn't always easy to do this. Especially, when we are frustrated as Fido is eating his fourth pair of expensive shoes.
