| Our protection training programs are simple and help you sleep better at night. Whether you want your dog to sound an alarm or actually apprehend an intruder, Metropolitan K-9, LLC, can and will get you there. |

The alarm program consists of your dog being taught to sit, down, stay, come when called and to walk at your left side. All commands will be performed both on and off-leash. Your dog will also be taught to alert at the door, as well as in the car at strangers, when commanded to. Your dog will also alert on command at strangers when walking down the street. |
Our personal protection program consists of all the training involved in the alarm dog program and will also include a short send to dispatch an attacker, biting both a suit and hidden sleeve, and dispatching an aggressive perp as well as a passive perp as most bad guys are passive before they attack you. The dog will also be taught to let go and return to its handler on command.
Your dog must go through a free evaluation to determine if your dog is indeed capable of being an alarm dog, or a personal protection dog as not all dogs have what it takes to be a deterrent or personal body-guard. |
